Why are the affirmations on the inside of the clothing?
Affirmations have been used by motivational coaches, yogis and both the business and science community for their power to help people change their lives and their view of the world. We literally create our reality with every thought in our head, every emotion in our bodies. An affirmation is a personal mantra, most effective when repeated often and stated in the present – for example ‘I am a kind and loving person,’ ‘I am a fantastic public speaker,’ ‘I am strong and healthy,’ ‘I am filled with gratitude.’
Why do we print affirmations on the inside of our organic cotton clothing? Repetition is key to changing a habit or a belief system, and we created Within tees to be your constant reminder. Why use organic cotton?
At Within Organics, we create products that honor your spirit and the planet. As business owners we are able to utilize the services of green companies that are committed to treading lightly on the earth, thereby proudly creating a greater demand for more companies to be environmentally conscious. We use minimal shipping supplies and recycled paper products for all of our literature. We use only 100% organic cotton fabric. Conventional cotton is heavily sprayed with pesticides, insecticides and other toxic chemicals. Organic cotton is grown without those poisons, which is great news for our environment – and for us!
Additionally, we use proceeds from our shirt sales to fund organizations that support the health and well-being of people and the planet. What starts as a tee shirt evolves into something much bigger! We are currently supporting Care and Kiva, two global organizations that empower underserved populations.
