Can you believe it, dear Within fans?  Starbucks stole our idea!

During last year’s holiday season, the coffee giant rounded up musicians from around the world (156 countries, to be exact) and invited them sing “All You Need Is Love” at exactly the same time.

That’s a great idea, right?!  It was ours!

Well…ok…maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration to say that Starbucks “stole” our idea.  Perhaps the more accurate statement is: “Starbucks had a great idea and I wish we’d thought of it.  And it would also have been helpful to have the resources, the global presence and the international connections to pull it off.”

Yeah, that’s what I meant.

But regardless of who thought of it first, check out the video – the end result is fabulous. 

And ok, Starbucks, so technically you didn’t steal our idea this time.  But we’ve got our eye on you.
