Bethany, Laura, Drea and Mom DeVeau are limitless!
I have to admit it was a proud moment, participating in an event on my home turf. For 32 years now Durfee High School has hosted Fall River’s Scholarship Fund Holiday Craft Fair. My grandparents, aunts and cousins have been attending for years. We thought it would be fun to hang with our friends and fam at the Within booth, and to bring our beautiful creations to a new market. We have to be honest, we’d love to say we know exactly who are target market is, how they shop, what they want. Any good business owner should know that, right? But I’ll put myself out on a limb by saying that we just keep creating beautiful tees that inspire us personally and we send them out into the world. It hasn’t let us down yet. We’ve been getting the love right back every time. The world seems to want what we want – something that makes us feel good, and look good too. Within the first minutes our tees were flying off the booth and into the hands of happy customers. Damn, life is good. We were also thrilled to have our best seller back – the famed I am limitless tee. Still a big hit.
It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t take a moment to thank my hometown folks for helping to make this event, and Within in general, a big, happy success. Thanks to Eric and Amy, for always letting me crash at their place and helping to spread the word. Also for introducing us to One Love bodycare. Nikki and I are obsessed! Thanks to my mom for putting in more man hours at our shows than anyone else and for feeding me Barley Green all weekend to help my cold at bay. Thanks to Bethany for modeling our shirts so beautifully and for being an unofficial member of our sales force. Big love to Drea for keeping me honest about what is true in my heart and for taking me to the beach on a sunny winter day. And thank you to my husband Aaron, for being an invaluable web consultant, business adviser, expert car packer, banner putter-upper and shoulder to laugh and cry on.
It takes a team to build something beautiful and I consider you all part of team Within. I love you!
