Getting Out There

A wise business investor once told us that attending events and expos is a great idea, even if we take a loss financially. I was happy to hear that. We LOVE going to events. We meet so many people and we learn something new every time. Like the show in Santa Monica where we were next to an apparel company called Aviator Nation. They had been around for a couple years and had quite a good system going. They pulled up at their booth with their clothing already on the rack, hung their banner and sat in their fold out lawn chairs for the rest of the show. We on the other hand, showed up with about 20 boxes of unorganized inventory and spent the duration of the event stumbling over boxes while we carefully folded and hang-tagged our precious tees. Totally amateur. But we learned and we made great friends and I hope we get to go to shows for a long time to come. Hopefully we’ll meet YOU someday!
